Dr. Chilgar served as an Assistant Professor in Plastic Surgery at B.Y. L. Nair Charitable Hospital, Mumbai, and gained expertise through visits to esteemed departments, including TATA Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore.

To excel in Cosmetic Surgery, he pursued Mentor and CSI Fellowship at Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai, practicing in the Mumbai region and working with Bollywood celebrities. Dr. Ram further honed his skills through a prestigious Microsurgery fellowship at CMUH, Taiwan, under Dr. Hung-Chi Chen, a global expert in innovative micro-surgical reconstructions.
